Joanne Stefani Germanotta (born March, 1986), best known by her stage name Lady GaGa, is an American singer-songwriter and dance-pop/electronica musician signed to Interscope Records. On April 8, 2008, she released her debut single, "Just Dance", which went on to reach number one in both Australia and Canada. Its release is expected early 2009 for the United Kingdom. Lady GaGa was born in March 1986, in New York, to an Italian family.
